Hydra Search have exclusively partnered with a well-established provider in the power generation sector. An opportunity is available for an experienced HD Mechanic to join a growing organisation supporting critical diesel power generation assets across both workshop and remote site operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Carrying out engine rebuilds, servicing and maintenance on diesel power generation equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on generators and associated plant
- Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance in remote operational environments
- Completing inspections, servicing and overhaul activities to manufacturer standards
- Maintaining accurate service reports and compliance documentation
- Working safely across both workshop and field-based environments

Requirements

- Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification




- Experience working on diesel engines and power generation equipment
- Experience with CAT, Cummins, MTU or similar engines highly regarded
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
- Ability to pass medicals and site inductions
- Valid C-Class Driver's Licence
