Titan Ind is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team, working across a range of diesel-powered equipment, including pumps, generators, lighting plants and engines.

We're looking for skilled tradespeople who are confident in fault finding, diagnostics and repairs, and who can work independently to identify issues, minimise downtime and keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

About the Role

As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of diesel‑powered equipment to ensure reliability and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Pumps & Pumping Equipment: Carry out servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on diesel‑driven pumps and associated equipment.
- Generators & Lighting Plants: Diagnose, maintain and repair diesel generators, lighting plants and associated mechanical components.
- Diesel Engines: Perform engine servicing, mechanical repairs, component replacements and preventative maintenance.
- Fault Finding & Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and diesel engine faults to determine effective repair solutions.




- Defect Identification & Reporting: Conduct equipment inspections, identify defects and accurately document findings, repair requirements and completed work.
- Breakdown Maintenance: Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled servicing and inspections to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with site safety procedures, company standards and manufacturer requirements.

About You

We're looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters with strong diagnostic skills, a proactive approach to maintenance and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

To be successful, you will have

- Experience working on pumps, generators, lighting plants and diesel engines
- Strong mechanical fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities
- Experience identifying, documenting and reporting equipment defects
- Sound knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics and associated mechanical components
- Ability to carry out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and equipment inspections
- Strong attention to detail and accurate maintenance reporting
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to meet pre‑employment medical and site entry requirements
