Blue Dog Training is looking for experienced Carpenters who are ready to take their trade knowledge and help develop the next generation of apprentices.

No training experience? That's okay.

If you've spent years on site, take pride in your trade, and enjoy helping others learn, we'll support your transition into training, including mentoring support and assisting you to attain the required Cert IV TAE qualification to train and assess.

As a Trainer and Assessor with Blue Dog,



you'll work directly with apprentices, sharing real-world carpentry knowledge, supporting their development and helping them build successful careers in the construction industry.

What You'll Bring

- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Strong industry experience and sound trade knowledge
- Ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds
- Patience and a genuine desire to help others learn
- Good digital literacy and the ability to learn new systems
- The ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Eligibility to obtain a Queensland Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card)
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - Highly regarded but not essential
