The Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the full performance and presentation of the store, including:
Leading, coaching, and developing a high‑performing sales team
Develop and execute winning sales strategies
Deliver exceptional customer experiences from design advice to tailored quotes
Maintaining showroom standards, merchandising, and product presentation
Build loyal customer relationships and repeat business
Handing the tough conversations with customers and staff
Upholding Discount City Carpets’ reputation for professionalism, quality, and customer satisfaction
About You
Proven experience in senior retail sales or store management
A strong sales track record — consistently hitting and exceeding targets
Excellent communication, leadership, and team‑building skills
A commercially savvy, organised, and results‑driven mindset
Experience in flooring, building products, interiors, or home improvement (preferred but not essential)
You know how to sell, how to lead, and how to create a showroom environment customers love walking into.
