Transberra Logistics is seeking a Senior Book Keeper to join our growing Administration team in Campbelltown, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to take a leading role in our accounting operations. As Senior Book Keeper, you will be responsible for managing our day-to-day bookkeeping functions. This role is instrumental in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our records, directly contributing to the strategic financial management of Transberra Logistics.

What you'll be doing

- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment authorisation and reconciliation
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger records and ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and categorised
- Preparing financial statements, reports and documentation for management review and external auditors
- Assisting with tax preparation and ensuring all documentation is organised and readily available for external accountants
- Maintaining bookkeeping systems and processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and streamlining workflows
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies

What we're looking for

- Minimum 5+ years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Solid proficiency in accounting software, with demonstrated experience using MYOB, Xero or similar platforms
- Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices and procedures, including reconciliation and financial statement preparation




- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve complex accounting issues
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance requirements in Australia
- Certificate III in Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification
- Professional accounting membership (such as CPA Australia or IPA) is desirable but not essential
