Are you an experienced Surveyor looking for more variety, responsibility and the opportunity to develop your career?

We are looking for a highly motivated, all-round Surveyor to join our established team and work across a diverse range of engineering, construction, infrastructure and rail projects throughout Sydney and regional NSW.

Rail is a specialised part of our business, providing an excellent opportunity to develop specialist rail surveying skills. You don't need to be an experienced Rail Surveyor — we are looking for someone with robust surveying fundamentals, technical ability, initiative and the motivation to develop.

THE ROLE

You will be involved in a variety of projects and will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, progressively take on greater responsibility and broaden your skills.

Depending on your experience, you may work independently, lead a survey party or work as part of a larger project team.

Your work may include:

Engineering and construction setout

Rail and infrastructure surveying

Bridges and structures

Civil and road construction

Topographical surveys

GNSS and conventional control surveys

3D laser scanning and point cloud work using the latest technology.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable taking responsibility and wants to continue developing professionally.

Ideally, you will have:

Formal qualification in Surveying or similar discipline

Must be currently eligible to work in Australia

3+ years' experience leading survey parties

Strong engineering, construction or infrastructure surveying experience

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proactive and self-motivated approach

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good communication and stakeholder management skills





Practical problem-solving ability

Strong understanding of WHS requirements

Willingness to learn new techniques and technology

Rail experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Experience with Leica and/or Trimble equipment is preferred. Knowledge of 12d, 12d Field, Magnet, Trimble Business Centre, RealWorks and AutoCAD would also be advantageous, with training available where required.
