About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and motivated Occupational Therapists to join our growing national contractor network in anticipation of upcoming opportunities within the Veterans' Home Care (VHC) program .

This role will involve conducting home-based assessments for eligible veterans and providing recommendations to support their safety, independence and ability to remain living comfortably in their own homes.

This is an excellent opportunity for Occupational Therapists seeking flexible, meaningful work while making a positive difference in the lives of Australia's veteran community.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive home-based occupational therapy assessments for eligible veterans.
- Assess functional capacity, mobility, safety and activities of daily living.
- Identify appropriate home modifications, assistive equipment and support requirements.
- Prepare clear,



professional assessment reports and recommendations.
- Liaise with veterans, families, carers and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure assessments and documentation meet applicable program guidelines and service standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Experience conducting home assessments, functional assessments or community-based occupational therapy services.
- Strong communication, assessment and report-writing skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel within your nominated service area.
- Relevant insurances and business registration appropriate to contractor engagement.

Experience working with veterans, older Australians, community care or DVA-funded services will be highly regarded.
