We are a professional, dynamic project management company based in North Sydney, looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant/Payroll Manager to join our supportive finance team. Key responsibilities

Managing accounts payable, including credit card and staff expense processing, with a focus on accurate entries, calculations and coding

Managing end-to-end monthly payroll processing

Completing workers' compensation reconciliations and renewals

About you

At least five years of recent, relevant experience in accounting

A proactive approach, strong work ethic and genuine sense of personal accountability

Robust technical skills and a commitment to accuracy and completeness





The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Robust time management, planning and organisational skills

A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving

Curiosity and a willingness to learn

Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Experience processing payroll for more than 50 employees is desirable
