Desktop Account Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and organized Desktop Account Manager to join our team at Flick Anticimex.

This is a newly created role where you’ll play an important part in supporting and growing our customer accounts. Working closely with our Commercial Business Managers, Customer Development Managers and branch teams, you’ll help manage smaller accounts, coordinate customer requests, identify growth opportunities and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, staying organized and spotting opportunities, but prefers a desktop-based account management role rather than being out on the road.

What you’ll be doing

- Supporting and managing day-to-day needs across smaller customer accounts
- Building strong relationships and providing a great experience for our customers
- Identifying potential growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Following up customer requests and ensuring actions are completed
- Coordinating with Sales, Operations, Customer Care and other internal teams
- Supporting the transition of new customers from Sales into ongoing account management
- Keeping customer, account and prospect information accurate and up to date
- Tracking leads and opportunities and making sure they reach the right person
- Helping resolve account queries and escalating more complex matters when needed




- Supporting customer retention and helping us uncover opportunities to grow

About you

You’ll be someone who is naturally organized, customer-focused and confident managing multiple priorities.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Experience in account management, customer service, sales support or a similar role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence speaking with customers over the phone and email
- Excellent organization, administration and follow-up skills
- A commercial mindset and the ability to recognise potential growth opportunities
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Confidence working across different teams to get things done
- The ability to prioritise competing requests in a busy environment
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
- Experience using CRM or customer management systems is essential
