Sales Consultant - Aged Care and Mobility Equipment
I’ve made the sales expectations clearer and reflected the support provided by the central team for administration, delivery and servicing.
Showroom Sales Consultant
Baulkham Hills | Full time | Monday–Friday
Help people find the right equipment to move confidently and live more independently.
Mobiquip is a family-owned Australian business providing mobility, aged care and disability equipment. We’re looking for a personable, practical and motivated Sales Consultant to join our Baulkham Hills showroom.
This role brings together customer care, product knowledge and sales. You’ll take time to understand what each customer needs, demonstrate suitable equipment and help them make a confident purchase.
You’ll work with a small showroom team, supported by our central sales operations, delivery and service teams, so you can focus on customers, product advice and sales.
About the role
Our customers include older Australians, people with disability, family members, carers and health professionals. Some know exactly what they need; others need patient guidance through an unfamiliar decision.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming customers, asking thoughtful questions and understanding their needs, preferences and budget.
Explaining and demonstrating products such as walkers, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lift recliners, beds and bathroom aids.
Helping customers compare suitable options and arranging product trials with the relevant team.
Preparing straightforward showroom quotations, processing retail sales and keeping accurate customer records.
Following up showroom enquiries and quotations promptly, helping customers take the next step and converting enquiries into sales.
Identifying relevant accessories or additional equipment that will benefit the customer.
Providing clear handovers to our central team for funded purchases, hire arrangements, deliveries and service requests.
Completing simple equipment assembly, adjustments and safety checks within your training—for example, assembling a shower chair or adjusting walker brakes.
Keeping the showroom clean, welcoming, well presented and ready for demonstrations.
Contributing to showroom sales goals through reliable follow-up, strong product knowledge and thoughtful customer service.
About you
You enjoy helping people, but you’re also comfortable asking for the sale and following through. You can show patience and empathy while keeping enquiries moving and managing your time effectively.
We’re looking for someone with:
Experience in retail sales, consultative selling or a customer service role with sales responsibilities.
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain product features in practical, everyday language.
A willingness to learn how equipment works and confidently demonstrate it.
Initiative,
sound judgement and the ability to work independently while contributing to a small team.
Confidence using computers for quotations, sales, customer records and email.
Attention to detail and a dependable approach to customer follow-up.
A practical approach to handling, assembling and adjusting equipment safely, with training provided.
Willingness to complete a National Police Check.
Experience in mobility equipment, aged care, disability or allied health would be valuable. Familiarity with NDIS, DVA or Support at Home would also be an advantage, but we welcome applicants with strong transferable sales skills.
What we offer
A stable, full-time role based at our Baulkham Hills showroom.
Monday–Friday working arrangements.
A competitive salary reflecting your skills and experience.
Product training and ongoing support to build your confidence.
Support from central teams handling specialist administration, delivery scheduling and servicing.
A small team where initiative, accountability and practical ideas are valued.
Meaningful work where the right advice can make everyday life easier for a customer.
At Mobiquip, we believe mobility is personal. We help people choose equipment that suits their circumstances, with practical advice, quality products and ongoing support.
As a family-owned business, we value relationships—with our customers, their families, health professionals and our team. We’re continuing to improve how we work and are looking for people who want to contribute to that progress.
Mobility. Made Personal.
