Are you ready to take the next step in your retail career? We're looking for an experienced, hands-onAssistant Store Manager to join a well-established lighting retailer in Brookvale.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
- Driving sales and achieving store targets across retail, trade and design
- Delivering personalised customer service and helping customers find the right lighting solutions
- Building strong relationships with trade customers and growing loyalty program engagement
- Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation and stock management
- Supporting daily operations to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently
- Creating a positive team culture built on accountability, collaboration and great customer experiences
- Promoting a secure and supportive environment for customers and team members
About You
- Previous experience in retail, sales or a customer-focused environment, ideally with leadership experience
- A natural ability to motivate others,
build relationships and lead by example
- A commercial mindset, with a focus on sales results and customer satisfaction
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and confidence taking ownership
- A current driver's licence
