Are you the person who walks into a venue and immediately sees the Reel?
We’re looking for a social-first Content Creator to take the reins on content across Distillery Road Market and our growing portfolio of hospitality, events and beverage brands.
This is a highly autonomous role for someone who loves social media, knows what makes people stop scrolling and would rather be out shooting, editing and creating than sitting around waiting for a brief.
One day you might be filming behind the scenes at Perentie Brewing Co. The next, capturing a packed live music event, shooting a recent menu, jumping on a trend or turning something happening around the precinct into a Reel before anyone else has thought of it.
You’ll work closely with our Marketing and Events teams, but we want someone who brings their own ideas, instincts and creative energy to the role.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating Reels, Stories, carousels, photography and video across our brands
- Finding content opportunities around the precinct and making them happen
- Shooting and editing social-first video
- Creating content around food, beer, events, live music, people and experiences
- Helping shape weekly content calendars
- Jumping on relevant trends and turning them into brand content
- Creating graphics and campaign assets
- Capturing major events and activations
- Writing social copy and adapting tone across different brands
- Looking at what performs and using those insights to make the next piece even better
You’ll probably love this role if…
You live and breathe Instagram and TikTok. You understand why one Reel flies and another dies. You can shoot something beautiful on a camera or phone, edit quickly, have a great eye and don’t need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what to create.
You’ll need a strong portfolio and experience creating digital or social content. Canva and video editing skills are important, and experience in hospitality, events, lifestyle, entertainment or beverage brands would be a big plus.
Some evening and weekend work will be required because, well, that’s when some of the best stuff happens.
