About This Prospect

This is a call for applicants for Casual academics in the School of Political Science and International Studies in support of our course offerings in Semester 1 2027. Casual academics will typically be engaged in a range of duties, including (but not limited to) tutoring; marking; teaching and moderating/facilitating. Casual academics are remunerated according to the category of their duties, as detailed in UQ's Enterprise Agreement.

NB: Tutoring opportunities are reliant on course enrolment numbers and some courses at postgraduate level may not attract sufficient enrolments to require a tutor.

These are casual appointments. As such, there is no firm advance commitment to ongoing or indefinite work. The casual rate will vary as per the work completed.
