Bundaberg Central

Want to help tell the story of one of Queensland’s most exciting visitor destinations?

Bundaberg Tourism is looking for a Marketing Executive to help turn our marketing strategy into great campaigns, compelling content and coordinated activity that inspires visitors to discover more of the Bundaberg Region.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making things happen. You’ll work across campaigns, digital channels, content, partners, events and reporting, bringing together the people, assets and timelines needed to deliver high-quality marketing activity.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with our Marketing Assistant, tourism operators, industry partners and specialist contractors to keep activity moving and ensure our marketing is integrated, accurate and delivered on time.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of Bundaberg Tourism’s marketing activity, including:

- Coordinating integrated destination marketing campaigns and content
- Managing campaign schedules, assets, approvals, partners and production workflows
- Coordinating our destination website, EDM program, content calendar and other digital channels
- Maintaining the regional events calendar and supporting priority regional events
- Coordinating approved corporate communications activity
- Working with tourism operators, partners, suppliers and specialist contractors
- Monitoring website, campaign, SEO and AEO performance
- Using analytics and audience insights to identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinating media familiarisations and influencer activity
- Maintaining strong campaign reporting,

records and evidence.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, content, events or digital channels
- Solid project coordination and organisational skills
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading ability
- Experience with websites, EDM platforms, content calendars, social scheduling and analytics
- An understanding of SEO, AEO and digital content optimisationConfidence working with partners, suppliers and multiple contributors
- The ability to turn a strategy or brief into a practical delivery plan
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to getting things done well and on time.

Experience in tourism, destination marketing or regional industry would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential.

This is an opportunity to contribute directly to how the Bundaberg Region is presented to visitors and help deliver marketing activity that supports our tourism industry.

You’ll work in a small, collaborative team where you can take genuine ownership of your work, build your capability and see the impact of the campaigns and content you help deliver.

The role is based at Bundaberg Tourism’s corporate office in East Bundaberg and may include regional travel and occasional activity outside standard business hours.

Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs. Don't transfer any money or complete suspicious online surveys. If you see something suspicious, report this job ad .
