Classroom Position

About the Role

The successful applicants will be required to work collaboratively with others to develop and implement high quality and engaging teaching programs to cater for the diverse needs and learning styles of all children in the class.

The successful candidate will:

- demonstrate robust interpersonal and communication skills and form positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues

Special Requirements

- VIT Registration or Provisional Registration to Teach (or in the process of obtaining it)
- Accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to obtain the necessary qualifications

St. John Vianney's has a student population of 187 students in nine classes for 2026 (203 students in 2027), consisting of 2 Prep classes, 3 x Year 1/2 classes, 2 x Year 3/4 classes and 2 x Year 5/6 classes. We have subject teachers in Phys Ed, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Library, Japanese and E-Learning as well as intervention and support teachers in Literacy and Numeracy. Our school has a very supportive parent and parish community.
