Job Description

Talenting is building a pool of Practice Nurses for generalpractice clients across Perth. Roles are available on a full-time, part-time,casual or fixed-term contract basis. Depending on the role, you may be employeddirectly by the practice, or employed by Talenting and placed with thepractice.

This role suits Registered Nurses with general practice orprimary care experience who enjoy working with patients of all ages and areconfident working independently within a busy clinic.

what you’ll do.

- Triage andsupport for GPs with assessment and treatment
- Immunisations andother injections, including cold chain management
- Wound care anddressings
- ECGs, spirometryand pathology collection
- Assisting withminor procedures
- Healthassessments, care plans and care coordination with allied health providers
- Patienteducation, recalls and follow-up of test results
- Treatment roommanagement, infection control and stock ordering




- Other practiceduties as required, including occasional reception cover

Requirements

about you.

- Current,unrestricted Ahpra registration as a Registered Nurse
- A currentImmunisation Certificate and CPR certificate
- Previousexperience in general practice or primary care
- Excellentcommunication skills and a patient-focused approach
- The ability towork independently and as part of a team
- Strongorganisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience usingclinical software and electronic medical records
- Experiencein chronic disease management, knowledge of general practice accreditation anda current driver's licence are also desirable.
