This role offers the chance to work across a diverse range of services, from busy breakfast shifts to large-scale event execution.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head Chef, you will be responsible for running your section and contributing to the successful delivery of:

- Breakfast service

- Lunch service

- Evening functions and events

- Weddings and social celebrations

- Corporate and private events

- Canapé events, shared feasting menus and plated functions

- Functions ranging from 50 to 300 guests

This is a hands-on role suited to a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food with consistency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and execute dishes for breakfast,



lunch and evening event service

- Manage your section efficiently during service

- Assist in the preparation and execution of weddings, corporate events and private functions

- Maintain exceptional food presentation and quality standards

- Support stock control, ordering and stock rotation

- Ensure food safety, cleanliness and HACCP standards are maintained

- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver outstanding guest experiences

- Assist with training and mentoring junior chefs when required

About You

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up

- Experience in restaurant, café and/or event catering environments

- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume service periods

- A positive attitude and strong team focus

- Passion for quality food and hospitality

- Availability to work a flexible roster including mornings, weekends and evening functions
