Finished school and ready to start a trade? ELJAY Constructions is a South East Queensland building company looking for a keen first-year apprentice to join our carpentry team. You’ll learn the trade on real sites alongside experienced tradespeople. Immediate start available.
What you’ll be working on
- New home construction
- Timber wall and roof framing
- External cladding
- Renovations and extensions
What you’ll learn
- Reading plans and setting out
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Framing, cladding and fit-off techniques
- Site safety and working as part of a crew
About you
- A school leaver (Year 10, 11 or 12 completed) keen to build a career in carpentry
- No experience needed, just a great attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable,
punctual and a valuable team player
- Physically fit and happy to work outdoors
- Own transport and a driver’s licence (or working towards one) preferred
- White Card an advantage (we can help you get one)
