About the Role

As aHousekeeping Services Assistant, cleaning andlaundry , you’ll be part of a dedicated team that helpscreate a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for older SouthAustralians living in our aged care homes. Your attention to detailand care will directly impact the comfort and wellbeing ofresidents making their home feel truly like home.

You’ll work alongside hospitality, clinical, and personal careteams to deliver high standards of cleanliness using modern systemslikeiClean andInterclean .Whether you’re refreshing a resident’s room, tidying shared spaces,or ensuring infection control protocols are followed, your workwill be valued and appreciated every day.

We currently have permanent part time (PPT) andcasual opportunities available across our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Start your day with a team briefing and connect with caringcolleagues

Cleaning Duties

- Clean and refresh resident rooms: vacuuming, dusting,polishing, and changing linens
- Maintain hygiene in bathrooms and communal areas usinginfection control protocols
- Use advanced cleaning systems to streamline your workand ensure compliance
- Monitor supplies and equipment, reporting any issues toyour supervisor
- Respect residents’ privacy and preferences whilecreating a homely atmosphere

Laundry Duties

- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residentclothing and linen
- Ensure all laundry is handled safely and hygienicallyin line with infection control procedures
- Operate laundry equipment in accordance with workplaceprocedures
- Maintain accurate identification and handling ofresidents’ personal items and garments




- Monitor laundry supplies and report any equipmentfaults or maintenance requirements

What You’ll Bring
