The Opportunity

We have an exciting prospect for an experienced senior lawyerto join our highly successful Insurance Division on a full-timebasis. Based in Brisbane, the successful candidate will enjoyworking on high value matters for premium insurer clients in a teamthat is recognised within the industry for delivering high qualityadvice and outstanding service to clients across a diverse range ofsectors including:

- Public liability – Personal Injury & Property
- Product liability; and
- Indemnity

The key purpose in this role will be to offer a broad range ofpersonal injury and general insurance services to a wide network ofclients. You will be required to have a demonstrated and soundknowledge of the industry, with the ability to run matters throughto completion. And, as a senior member of the team, you will beexperienced in, and comfortable leading and mentoring juniorlawyers.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:





- A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current Queenslandpractising certificate
- Minimum 3 years' post admission experience in generalinsurance matters, including liability claims
- Experience in personal injury proceedings inQueensland
- A passion for and experience in mentoring and supervisingjunior lawyers
- Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiplefields
- High degree of initiative, dedication and organisationability with a strong client and commercial focus
- A commercial approach and ability to articulate andnegotiate effectively; and
