Convil Group Pty Ltd is an established Sydney-based civil construction contractor delivering roadworks, stormwater drainage, earthworks, shared pathways, streetscape upgrades and infrastructure projects across NSW.

Due to our growing project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator or Senior Civil Estimator to join our team in Wetherill Park.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of civil construction tenders, work directly with senior management and contribute to securing new infrastructure projects.

What you will be doing

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs and competitive tender submissions.

- Review civil engineering drawings, specifications, schedules and tender documentation.

- Price roadworks, pavement construction, stormwater drainage, earthworks, concrete works and associated infrastructure.

- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

- Develop construction methodologies, tender clarifications, exclusions and risk allowances.

- Identify value engineering opportunities and commercially competitive solutions.

- Coordinate tender submissions and manage deadlines.

- Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and management.





- Assist with tender handovers and post-tender negotiations.

What we are looking for

- Proven estimating experience with an Australian civil construction contractor.

- Strong knowledge of roads, drainage, earthworks, pavements and civil infrastructure.

- Experience preparing tenders for local council, TfNSW or similar infrastructure projects is highly regarded.

- Ability to interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation.

- Strong understanding of construction rates, quantities, productivity and subcontractor pricing.

- Excellent Excel skills and experience with estimating software.

- Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and time management.

- Ability to independently manage multiple tenders and meet submission deadlines.
