1st Year Apprentice Mechanic - Light Vehicle
Kinnane's Car Clinic is a family-owned Repco Authorised Service centre that has proudly served our local community for over 35 years.
We've built a strong reputation for exceptional customer service and quality workmanship, and we're looking for anApprentice Light Vehicle Mechanicto join our team.
This is an excellent chance for a Year 12 school leaverwho has a genuine interest in cars and wants to learn a skilled trade in a supportive, professional workshop.
About the Role
As an apprentice working alongside our experienced tradesmen, you'll learn how to:
Work on a wide variety of vehicles
Carry out logbook servicing, general servicing and repairs
Detect, diagnose and repair mechanical faults
Use contemporary equipment and up-to-date diagnostic technology
Develop and maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency
Early finish every Friday (2:00pm)
Guaranteed time off over Christmas
Weekly pay cycle

Skills & Experience
You don't need to know everything already - we're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and pride in doing a job properly.
Ideally, you are someone who:
Has a genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry
Enjoys practical, hands-on work
Can listen to instructions and is keen to learn
Is reliable and punctual with a valuable work ethic
Works well as part of a team
Has, or is working towards obtaining, a manual driver's licence
Has full working rights in Australia
