Daily Good Café is a social enterprise café due to open mid-November located in the Royal Children's Hospital, Parkville. These are hands-on roles for those who enjoy variety and thrive in a fast-paced café environment. You'll be involved in everything from making quality coffee and serving customers to food preparation, sandwich making, keeping the café looking its best and working together as a team.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages

Delivering friendly, qualified customer service

Taking customer orders and operating the POS system

Assisting with food preparation and display presentation

Maintaining cleanliness of front and back-of-house areas

Supporting the kitchen and café team where needed

Opening and closing duties

Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained

About you

Barista skills with the ability to produce consistent,



quality coffee

Experience with food preparation and sandwich making

Strong communication and customer service skills

A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

Ability to work efficiently during busy periods

High attention to cleanliness and presentation

Reliable, punctual and patient

A genuine team player with a great work ethic

Supportive and friendly team environment
