Exciting State Government Depot Business Services Officer Opportunity

Join a busy operational team in a diverse administration role supporting depot operations across both Jandakot and Welshpool. This 6-month contract offers a mix of reception, stakeholder engagement, training coordination, asset administration and business support duties within a collaborative government environment.

Your new role
In this varied position, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to depot operations and be the key point of contact for a range of internal enquiries.

- Front reception and general customer service duties
- Coordinating training bookings and maintaining training records
- Processing monthly inspections, log sheets and defect checklists
- Managing building fault reports and associated documentation
- Conducting quarterly asset stock takes
- Assisting staff with time sheet, allowance and personal protective equipment (PPE) enquiries
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting business operations across multiple depot locations

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience in an administrative or business support position




- Strong skills across the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive and organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A current National Police Clearance
- A current C-Class Driver's Licence
- Availability to attend an interview on Tuesday 3 November 2026
