Our residents asked for a friendly face at the front desk on the days their families visit. That’s you.

The Henley on Broadwater is a 25-level community of around 130 residents overlooking the water. We know everyone by name, our bistro is open seven days, and we are building a place people are proud of. This is a current role, created because residents told us weekend presence was the thing they wanted most.

The days

Thursday and Friday 9am to 3pm. Saturday and Sunday 9am to 1pm. Twenty hours a week, permanent part-time, weekend penalty rates, and Monday to Wednesday are yours.

The job

You run the front desk and you are the person everyone meets first. Mail, parcels, keys, phone, bookings, a little admin on Thursdays, and on weekends you float between reception and the bistro looking after families and friends. If a lift plays up or someone needs help, you are the calm one who knows who to call.



We train you for the rest, fire warden included.

You work alongside our Monday to Wednesday reception colleague with a written handover each way, so you always start the day knowing what’s going on.

You

- Warm, unhurried, good with people of every age and especially with older people
- Front-of-house experience from hospitality, hotels, clubs, retail or community work
- Steady when things get busy, practical when something goes wrong
- Organised enough to keep a register and a handover straight
- Comfortable with a phone system and Outlook
- Able to commit to Thursday to Sunday every week

Pay and conditions

Clerks Private Sector Award Level 2, $30.50 per hour base, Saturday and Sunday at award penalty rates. Uniform provided. On-site parking. A small, warm team and a General Manager who will know your name on day one.
