Chocolate Country is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our growing team in Montville, QLD. As a casual employee, key role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere in our charming chocolaterie and cafe. This position offers the flexibility of casual hours of around 25 hours per wekk during Monday to Friday, allowing you to balance work and other commitments. You will be responsible for serving customers, stock control and assisting with the overall operations of the shop.

Key responsibilities

Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive, friendly experience for all visitors

Restocking and maintaining the retail displays and merchandise

Assisting with general shop duties such as cash handling, cleaning, and light food preparation

Ensuring the shop is presented to a high standard at all times

Contributing to a team-oriented team environment and supporting your colleagues

About you

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a retail environment

Minimum 3-6 months of customer service or hospitality experience required





Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality

Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work a range of Monday to Friday shifts, no weekends included

A keen interest in the chocolate and confectionery industry

Australian work rights required for this position
