Cleared Recruitment are looking for a Software Engineer to join a technically focused engineering team working on specialist systems in a high-security environment.

About the role

- Develop and maintain software across embedded environments.
- Build internal tools and automation to support engineering and test activities.
- Contribute to system integration, testing and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.
- Take ownership of technical problems and contribute to the ongoing development of engineering capability.

About you

We're looking for someone with:

- Professional experience in software engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as C, C++,



Python, Go or C#.
- Expzrience with Linux, embedded systems or hardware/software integration.
- Robust problem-solving and debugging skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team.
- Good communication and technical documentation skills.

Experience across embedded software, systems engineering, test automation or electronics would be advantageous.
