We’re seeking an experienced Dell Storage & Backup Administrator to take ownership of storage performance, capacity planning and data protection within a complex enterprise environment.

The role

- Administer Dell PowerMAX, NetWorker, Data Domain and ECS platforms.
- Manage provisioning, backup policies, replication and recovery operations.
- Monitor performance and capacity, recommending improvements.
- Resolve complex Level 3 incidents and lead data-recovery activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on integration, upgrades and technology refresh projects.
- Maintain technical documentation and support ITIL change processes.

About You

- Extensive enterprise storage and backup administration experience.
- Strong hands-on skills with Dell PowerMAX/VMAX, NetWorker, Data Domain and ECS.
- Sound knowledge of SAN fabrics, Fibre Channel zoning and DD Boost.
- Solid troubleshooting, capacity-planning and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Ballarat or Melbourne CBD
- Dell certifications, VMware storage integration, Brocade/Cisco MDS and scripting skills will be highly regarded.
