Profectus is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Application Support Analysts for likely future opportunities across the Australian Government. The work is likely to require supporting business applications in production, resolving incidents and defects, and working with vendors and development teams on fixes and releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide second and third level support for business applications
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents, problems and service requests
- Analyse application logs, data and configuration to find root causes
- Log, track and prioritise defects, and coordinate fixes with vendors and development teams
- Test fixes and minor enhancements before release
- Support application releases, upgrades and post-release checks
- Monitor application health, performance and scheduled jobs
- Write and maintain knowledge articles, runbooks and support documentation
- Work within ITIL incident, problem and change management processes

Required Experience

- Minimum three years in application support roles




- Supporting business applications in production
- Incident, problem and defect management
- SQL for data investigation and troubleshooting
- Service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management or similar
- ITIL Foundation
- Supporting cloud-hosted or SaaS applications
- Supporting Dynamics 365, ServiceNow or other enterprise platforms
- Government or other regulated-industry application support

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must hold a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)
