Illawarra Toyota is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services, bridging the gap between our clients and our service department. This role is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty, whilst supporting the operational efficiency of our dealership.

Key responsibilities

Greeting customers in a warm and professional manner, understanding their service requirements and building strong relationships

Taking detailed vehicle service bookings and recording comprehensive service requests from customers

Explaining service recommendations and warranty options to customers in a clear and understandable way

Providing accurate quotations and discussing pricing with customers to ensure transparency and satisfaction

Coordinating with the service department to ensure timely job completion and vehicle delivery

Following up with customers regarding service completion and addressing any concerns or questions

Maintaining accurate records of service appointments, customer information and vehicle history

Processing customer payments and handling administrative documentation with accuracy

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a customer-facing administrative role, preferably within automotive, retail or hospitality sectors

Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups





Excellent organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple bookings and enquiries simultaneously

Proficiency with computer systems and dealership management software, or a willingness to learn quickly

Attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer information, appointments and documentation

A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and problem-solving

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced automotive environment
