An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a well-regarded Compensation practice group, working on defendant Workers’ Compensation matters.

In this fast-paced and highly engaging role you’ll support your own dedicated lawyers and play a key role in keeping matters moving efficiently and proactively.

The Role

Working closely with 2–3 fee earners, your responsibilities will include:

- End-to-end file management on defendant PI/Workers Comp matters
- Preparing and filing court documents and affidavits
- Online court filing and monitoring key deadlines
- Preparing briefs for Counsel
- Diary, court date and meeting coordination
- Supporting lawyers ahead of hearings and appearances

About You

This role will suit someone who:

- Has experience supporting in litigation, insurance and/or Personal Injury




- Is highly organised, proactive and deadline-driven
- Can confidently manage a busy workload in a fast-paced workplace
- Understands the importance of urgency, prioritisation and accuracy
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
