THE ROLE - KEEP MOVING, KEEP PICKING!
We're looking for operators who know their way around a busy warehouse and aren't afraid of a fast-paced shift!
Your responsibilities may include:
- Operating Tuggers and Electric Pallet Movers safely and efficiently
- High-volume order picking with targets of 150+ picks per hour
- RF scanning and order processing
- Voice picking (experience highly regarded!)
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Manual handling and order picking of alcoholic beverages
- Repetitive manual handling of products weighing up to 20kg
- Pallet wrapping, stock movement and staging completed orders
- Meeting daily productivity, accuracy and safety KPIs
- Keeping your work area clean, organized and safe
To be considered, you MUST have:
- Previous experience in a busy warehouse or distribution centre
- Strong RF scanning and order-picking skills
- Ability to consistently meet high-volume picking targets
- Confidence performing repetitive manual handling up to 20kg
- Excellent attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- A reliable attitude, strong work ethic and excellent attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transport (highly advantageous for early starts)
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
- This position is based within an alcohol distribution facility and involves the regular picking, packing and manual handling of alcoholic beverages.
All applicants must be comfortable handling alcohol and alcohol-related products as part of their daily duties.
- Applicants must hold a National Police Check issued within the last 6 months or be willing to obtain one as part of the recruitment process.
- Please note: These positions require a minimum of 6 months' recent Tugger operating experience. Applicants without relevant experience will not be considered.
