A leading investment bank is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team, working closely with its markets business.
The role
- Negotiate financial markets documentation with domestic and offshore counterparties
- Advise the business on counterparty and documentation risk
- Maintain templates, playbooks and documentation processes
- Keep documentation up to date with regulatory change
- Partner with the front office, operations and the wider legal team
About you
- Admitted in Australia with 5+ years of experience in financial markets documentation
- Background at a bank, trading firm, fund manager or top-tier law firm
- Commercial, organised and confident handling a high volume of work
