About Caity & Duncan
Caity & Duncan is a Melbourne-based wedding photography and videography studio specialising in modern editorial imagery with a nostalgic influence, including digital photography, 35mm film and Super 8.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Caity and Duncan, the studio has grown into a creative team of photographers, videographers, content creators and photo and video editors, working across Victoria, Australia and internationally.
We care deeply about creating beautiful work while giving our couples a warm, personal and genuinely luxury client experience.
We’re looking for an experienced Client & Studio Manager to become a key long-term part of the business.
Reporting directly to Caity and Duncan, you’ll sit at the centre of the studio, coordinating between the founders, our clients, our photography and videography teams, content creators and our photo and video production team.
The role
Your role will focus on three key areas:
Sales & enquiries
- Take ownership of new leads from first personal response through to signed booking
- Respond to enquiries and answer questions
- Lead relaxed Zoom consultations with prospective couples
- Recommend appropriate photography and videography collections
- Prepare quotes and follow up warm leads
- Keep prospective clients moving confidently through the booking process
Client experience
- Manage the studio inbox and day-to-day client communication
- Look after our couples throughout their planning experience
- Answer planning questions and hold client meetings where needed
- Coordinate questionnaires, timelines and wedding information
- Make sure every couple feels informed, supported and genuinely looked after
Studio & team coordination
- Coordinate our photographers, videographers and content creators
- Manage team availability and assist with wedding assignments
- Prepare detailed wedding briefs
- Liaise with our production team of photo and video editors
- Keep Studio Ninja, Monday.com and internal workflows organised
- Become the first point of contact for normal operational questions from the team
Who is this role for?
- Wedding planner or coordinator
- Wedding photographer or videographer
- Venue or events coordinator
- Studio manager
- Wedding-industry sales or client service professional
This role may particularly suit someone who loves the wedding industry but wants to move away from physically working weddings every weekend.
Experience in wedding photography or videography would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential.
What we’re looking for
- Warm, confident and naturally good with people
- Experienced in client service and sales
- Comfortable leading consultations for a premium service
- Highly organised with excellent follow-through
- A strong written communicator
- Calm and practical when problems ariseComfortable making decisions independently
- Proactive and willing to take genuine ownership
- Confident managing multiple clients, weddings and team members at once
- Comfortable learning software and improving systems
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to become a long-term part of Caity & Duncan and grow with the studio over the coming years .
Working with us
This is a primarily work-from-home role of approximately 20 hours per week, with considerable flexibility around how your weekday hours are structured.
We are open to applicants across Australia. Being Melbourne-based is helpful but not essential.
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, although some early-evening availability will be required for client consultations, generally between 6:00pm and 7:30pm Melbourne time.
Whenever one of our wedding teams is working, you’ll also be the studio’s on-call contact. In most cases this simply means receiving a quick check-in confirming the team has arrived and everything is running smoothly.
If a genuine issue requires you to actively work on a weekend, that additional time will be paid separately at a generous rate.
You’ll be joining a creative team of photographers, videographers, content creators and editors, with team catch-ups and social events throughout the year.
We value autonomy, flexibility and people who bring ideas to the table rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Salary & growth
$55,000 + superannuation
Approximately 20 hours per week
Permanent part-time
There is significant opportunity for the role to grow in responsibility, hours and remuneration as the studio continues to grow.
Start date: Late November / early December 2026, with flexibility for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will begin with a one-month probation period .
Applications close: 13 November 2026.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and we may begin interviewing or close applications early if we find the right person.
Due to the anticipated volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
