Job Description

Join our Kindergarten team and play an important role in supporting the learning, wellbeing and development of young children within our Early Childhood Centre.

We are seeking expressions of interest for part-time Kindergarten Assistant opportunities commencing in 2027 , with positions available across up to five days per week. Opportunities may include supporting our Kindergarten program, lunch cover and Before School Care program.

Working closely with our kinder teachers and colleagues, you will help create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children feel supported to learn, explore and grow.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the creation of a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for children.
- Assist with the delivery of play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and development.
- Provide attentive supervision and meaningful engagement with children throughout the day,



including during meal and rest times.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and fellow educators to foster a positive learning environment.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming space that supports children's learning and wellbeing.
- Assist with routine tasks and administrative duties as required.

About You

- Experience working in an early childhood education setting.
- Completed, or currently working towards, an ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (such as a Certificate III or Diploma).
- Understanding of, and commitment to, early childhood regulations, frameworks and best practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the life of the School.
- Flexible availability across a range of part-time working arrangements.
