Experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) will be highly regarded but is not essential.
About the Role
You will work with a diverse caseload of children, adolescents, and adults, delivering evidence-based psychological services tailored to their individual needs.
Depending on your qualifications, experience, and professional scope, your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Supporting clients with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural challenges, and developmental concerns.
- Developing individualised treatment plans and therapeutic strategies.
- Completing clinical documentation, progress reports, and NDIS-related reports.
- Collaborating with families, schools, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing services across community, school, clinic, home, and telehealth settings.
- Participating in clinical case discussions and professional development activities.
- Contributing to Positive Behaviour Support services where appropriately qualified and authorised.
For applicants with PBS experience, there may be opportunities to undertake Functional Behaviour Assessments, develop Behaviour Support Plans, and provide behaviour support interventions in accordance with NDIS requirements.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: $80,000 – $140,000 per annum + superannuation (FTE), depending on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible Employment: Full-time and part-time opportunities.
- Established Referral Network: Opportunities to build a consistent and rewarding caseload.
- Administrative Support: Assistance with appointment scheduling, invoicing, reminders, and client management.
- Clinical Support: Regular case discussions, therapeutic guidance, and assistance with complex presentations.
- Growth opportunities: Opportunities to progress into senior clinical, team leadership, or management positions as the organisation expands.
- Professional Development: Opportunities to strengthen clinical expertise and develop additional skills in psychology and Positive Behaviour Support.
- Hybrid Working Arrangements: A combination of community-based appointments, clinic services, and telehealth.
- Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive and expanding practice.

Clinical Support & Supervision
Hope & Ability provides ongoing workplace clinical support, including case discussions, therapeutic strategies, clinical documentation support, and guidance around service delivery.
For Provisional Psychologists:
Hope & Ability does not currently provide Board-approved internal supervision.
Provisional psychologists must arrange and maintain their own Board-approved supervision in accordance with the Psychology Board of Australia's requirements.
Financial contributions towards external supervision may be available as part of the employment package.
Our workplace clinical support is intended to complement, rather than replace, formal Board-approved supervision.
