We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join our talented kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including sushi ingredients, vegetables, sauces, and hot dishes
- Support the chefs in producing consistent, high-quality Japanese and fusion dishes
- Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Work efficiently in a rapid-paced open kitchen environment
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (Japanese or Asian cuisine preferred but not essential)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Willingness to learn and grow within a busy restaurant
