About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, reliable and professional Relief Building Manager to assist with the day-to-day operations of a well-established residential strata building in Sydney CBD.

The position involves working one regular day per week, with additional half days and full day shifts available to cover the Building Manager during periods of leave, absence or other operational requirements.

This role would ideally suit an experienced Building Manager seeking flexible casual work, including semi-retired professionals who wish to remain active in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the building's front desk and daily onsite operations during allocated shifts.
- Respond to resident enquiries and assist with general building matters.
- Liaise with contractors attending the building for maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas, plant rooms and building facilities.
- Monitor building presentation, cleanliness and maintenance requirements.
- Report maintenance issues, incidents and other matters to the principal Building Manager.




- Assist with general building administration and contractor access.

About You

- Previous experience in residential strata building management or a similar property-related role.
- Professional presentation and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day building matters.
- Valuable understanding of building operations, maintenance and contractor coordination.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable dealing with residents.
- Flexibility to undertake additional shifts when the Building Manager is unavailable or on leave.
- Current ABN preferred.
