Bondi Road Doctors is looking for a motivated and organised Assistant Practice Manager to support the Practice Manager in overseeing the daily operations of Bondi Road Doctors. In this role, you will help coordinate the smooth running of reception and administrative services, support the team in delivering an exceptional patient experience, and assist with the overall efficiency of the practice. You will also have the opportunity to step into the Practice Manager's responsibilities when required, ensuring continuity of service and effective team support. This position is full-time and includes a structured onboarding and training program, with guidance and ongoing support from the Practice Manager to help you build confidence and succeed.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate the smooth running of reception and administrative services
- Support the team in delivering an exceptional patient experience
- Assist with the overall efficiency of the practice
- Step into the Practice Manager's responsibilities when required
- Ensure continuity of service and effective team support

About you

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, which is essential
- Proficiancy in Best Practice software desirable




- Experience as an Assistant Practice Manager or Senior Medical Receptionist, which will be highly regarded
- A sound understanding of the daily operations and administrative requirements of a medical practice
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- The confidence to support colleagues, encourage teamwork and demonstrate effective leadership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner
- A commitment to outstanding patient service, confidentiality and ethical conduct
- Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn current systems
- An understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and patient privacy obligations
