Sick of crawling under old houses, working in the rain or driving from job to job all day?
Come and do something a little different.
King Caravans is a busy, family-owned local manufacturer building mobile mining camps, accommodation vans, site offices, lunchrooms, kitchens, ablution vans and more.
Our builds travel all over Australia, and we’re looking for another qualified plumber to join our crew.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
This isn’t your typical plumbing job.
You’ll be working primarily on new builds and refurbishments inside our large manufacturing shed, including:
- Showers, toilets, sinks and vanities
- Hot and cold water systems
- Under-van tanks
- Waste and water pipework
- Plumbing fit-outs on current builds
- Refurbishment work
- Assisting and supervising apprentices
- Finding practical solutions when a standard install just won’t cut it
Most importantly, you’re not driving around town from job to job or spending your day digging trenches in the rain.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified plumber
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Is reliable, honest and hardworking
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of a crew
- Is confident supervising apprentices
- Can think outside the box and problem-solve
- Likes getting in, getting the job done and having a laugh along the way
WHY WORK AT KING CARAVANS?
Four-day work week? Absolutely.
We know there’s more to life than work, so we offer the option of a 4-day or 5-day working week, while still working a standard 38-hour week.
You’ll also get:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- 4-day or 5-day working week options
- Family-friendly flexibility
- Work rain, hail or shine inside our large shed
- Tools supplied
- Uniforms supplied
- Mostly clean plumbing installs on new builds
- Limited outside work and running around to different job sites
- A family-owned business that genuinely values work/life balance
- A fun, down-to-earth crew
- Plenty of variety and interesting builds
We’re a busy business with plenty happening, so if you’re looking for steady work, good people and a plumbing role that’s a bit different from the usual, we’d love to hear from you.
