Female Disability Support Worker – High-Intensity Care

Location: Bendigo, VIC

About the Role

CarePro is seeking experienced and compassionate female Disability Support Workers to support a female participant in her 30s living in Bendigo. The participant has high-intensity support needs, is bedbound, and has Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

This role requires a skilled support worker who can provide safe, respectful and reliable care, with a solid focus on personal care, PEG feeding, medication management and overnight support.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, formal qualifications and demonstrated PEG feeding experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care, including hygiene, showering or bed bathing, dressing and toileting.
- Deliver PEG feeding in accordance with the participant's prescribed feeding plan and relevant clinical instructions.




- Assist with medication administration in line with the participant's medication plan and CarePro's policies.
- Provide safe support with repositioning, pressure care and other bedbound care needs, as required and within your training and competency.
- Prepare meals and assist with domestic duties, including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Monitor the participant's wellbeing and report any changes, concerns or incidents promptly.
- Provide overnight support during the sleepover period and respond appropriately to any support needs.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and follow all care plans, risk assessments and infection control procedures.

Pay: $40.26 – $55.16 per hour
