Experienced Female Support Worker – Gold Coast Heart Led Sisters (HLS)

We are currently seeking an experienced female support worker to join our growing team on the Gold Coast. We are building a flexible, sustainable roster and are genuinely invested in finding the right person and growing with them long-term.

About the Role

This is a community-based position focused on community access and capacity building. You'll be working alongside a client to help them engage with their community, develop independence, and work toward their goals. There is also a small admin component; primarily shift notes to keep communication clear and consistent across the team.

As we grow our roster, there is genuine flexibility in how your hours are structured, and we are open to building a schedule that works for the right candidate.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

- Supporting a client with complex behaviours in community settings
- Facilitating community access and meaningful capacity building activities
- Maintaining professional shift notes and communication




- Showing up consistently, safely, and with a person-centred approach

What We Need From You

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who has been in the field, understands the weight of this work, and has the skills and self-awareness to back it up.

- Demonstrated experience in disability support, ideally with complex or challenging behaviours
- Current Blue Card and Yellow Card (both are non-negotiable)
- The ability to establish and maintain strong personal and professional boundaries
- Outstanding communication skills - with clients, families, and your team
- A calm, grounded presence, particularly when things get hard
- Flexible availability to support roster building
