Manila in Canberra is expanding our bakery production. We are looking for a reliable Assistant Baker who can support daily bread and pastry production.
About the Role
- Mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking breads
- Assisting with Filipino bread production
- Preparing doughs, batters, and pastry items
- Finishing, decorating, and packaging baked goods
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Supporting wholesale and marketplace production schedules
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in bakery or pastry production
- Comfortable with dough handling and bread workflow
- Able to work independently and follow recipes
- Reliable, consistent, and good time management
- Morning availability (preferred)
- Filipino bread experience is a bonus — training provided
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Must already be in Australia
- No sponsorship available at this stage
