At the heart of the experience is The Balfour Kitchen & Bar , where guests enjoy refined, produce-driven dining in a relaxed yet sophisticated setting. Showcasing seasonal ingredients and modern Australian flavours, the restaurant and rooftop bar deliver memorable culinary experiences, from leisurely breakfasts to intimate dinners and evening cocktails overlooking the Brisbane skyline.

What you’ll be doing…

- Deliver exceptional guest service across Front Office and Food & Beverage operations.
- Welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and assist with guest enquiries.
- Coordinate reservations, guest itineraries and billing processes.
- Support breakfast, bar and restaurant service as required.
- Provide local recommendations and personalised service to enhance the guest experience.
- Forge relationships with guests and locals to promote clientele loyalty & retention.




- Maximize and identify opportunities to sell products & experiences that suit the needs of our guests.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and room charges according to hotel policies.
- Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times, oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, assist with the setup and service of special events, banquets, and private functions as needed.
- Maintain a safe, positive and collaborative workplace environment.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have...

- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience within a luxury hotel Front Office or Guest Services role.
- An RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to work across multiple areas of the hotel.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- A passion for Brisbane and sharing the city's best experiences with guests.
