Door-to-Door Sales Representatives - Can Club

We’re looking for two energetic, enthusiastic people to bring Can Club to more households across South Brisbane. You’ll meet residents, explain how it works and help them sign up on the spot.

Description of Role:

- Door-to-door sales representative.
- Knocking on 200–250 doors across an 7.5-hour day.
- Start and finish your shift at our Archerfield office. We will provide transport to and from the suburbs where you will be door-knocking.
- Visit households in assigned areas, explain how Can Club works and help interested residents sign up using Can Club's tablet.
- Having friendly, clear conversations about the Can Club service and its benefits.
- Explaining the collection process and service fee accurately.
- Leaving information or a sign-up QR code where appropriate.
- Use Knockio, our sales app, to track your door-knocking activity and record visits and feedback
- Working with our operations team to build our customer base.

Details:

- $35 minimum an hour plus super.
- UNCAPPED COMMISSION on top of your hourly pay.
- Estimated additional commission of around $500 per week, based on our pilot. Actual earnings depend on hours worked and sign-ups achieved, with no cap on commission.

What is Can Club?

Can Club provides households with a free recycling bin for 10c Containers for Change eligible drink containers. We collect the bin directly from their homes and handles the recycling through Queensland’s Containers for Change program. Customers receive 7 cents per eligible container, with Can Club retaining 3 cents as a service fee.

Who we’re looking for:

- Friendly, confident and reliable people, with plenty of energy and a strong work ethic.
- Enjoy meeting new people.
- Comfortable walking throughout the day.
- Motivated by clear targets and results.
- Needs to be reliable, positive and able to handle a “no thanks” politely before moving on to the next door.
- Comfortable using a tablet and helping new customers through a straightforward sign-up process.
- Previous door-to-door sales, promotions or customer service experience is welcome, but enthusiasm, communication skills and a strong work ethic matter most.

Pay: $35.00 – $48.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
