Pond Cafe is a small busy establishment with a focus on high quality, seasonal fresh food and excellent coffee. We are located in a beautiful part of the world in Torquay.

We are open 7 days a week from 7am to 3:00 pm (no nights). We have an excellent team of individuals that work together to bring a high standard using quality products and ingredients.

About The Role

Pond Cafe is seeking an enthusiastic Chef/cook to join our team, the position is casual , 3 days per week.

This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, has a good eye for detail and a genuine passion for cooking and food. Experience in a similar cafe setting is a must.

About You

We are looking for an experienced chef/cook with an excellent attitude and commitment to cooking.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

- Previous, proven experience in a similar role




- Experience in fast-paced, high volume establishments and an ability to handle the pressure of the kitchen
- A solid understanding of food and flavours
- Team player
- Hard worker
- Strong communication skills
