The Team

Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) is A&M;’s specialist deal analytics team within the Global Transaction Advisory Group. We help private equity and corporate clients make better-informed decisions across the transaction lifecycle by turning complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable commercial insights.

Working alongside our transaction teams and specialists across financial, commercial, operational, technology and tax, we embed analytics into due diligence and performance improvement work. This enables us to identify key deal drivers, assess opportunities and risks, and support value creation before and after a transaction.

How You Will Contribute

We are looking for people with experience in Deals or M&A; to help drive the continued growth of our team.

You will support the end-to-end delivery of analytics engagements, working closely with clients to define the scope, solve complex problems and translate findings into clear commercial insights.

Drawing on your transaction experience and commercial expertise, you will use modern analytics tools and techniques across engagements such as -

- Pre-deal evaluation and exit readiness
- Financial due diligence analytics
- Commercial and growth analytics
- Operational diligence and performance improvement
- Post-merger integration and carve-outs
- Working capital and CFO advisory
- Turnaround and restructuring support




- Payroll analytics
- Technology and data enablement

Qualifications

You will bring experience in a transaction-focused environment, such as Transaction Services, M&A; advisory or due diligence, together with an interest in applying analytics to deal-related challenges.

Ideally, you will also bring -

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a commercial mindset and confidence working with imperfect data
- An appreciation and understanding of how analytics affects deal decisions, with the communication skills to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships
- Experience with analytics tools such as SQL, Python or Alteryx, and visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Exposure to cloud data platforms and modern analytics workflows, such as Azure, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
- A CA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
