About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Scaffolder to supervise and work alongside a busy edge protection crew based from Marrickville, Sydney. You will lead day-to-day site activities while remaining hands-on with the installation, alteration and dismantling of edge protection and scaffolding systems across Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the crew on site, allocating work and maintaining productivity.
- Install, alter and dismantle tube-and-fitting scaffolding and temporary edge protection systems.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with site requirements and Australian standards.
- Complete pre-start checks and identify site hazards before work begins.
- Communicate clearly with team members, site supervisors and customers.
- Mentor less-experienced team members and promote a strong safety culture.
- Work independently, solve practical site issues and escalate risks when required.

What You Will Need

- At least 2 years’ experience as a Leading Hand Scaffolder or in a similar crew-leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience working safely at height and supervising site-based crews.
- A current driver’s licence; an MR truck licence is desirable.
- Strong communication,



teamwork and practical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work unsupervised, use initiative and maintain high standards under pressure.
- A valid Australian Construction White Card and appropriate High Risk Work Licence, or the ability to obtain the required Australian licences before commencing work.
