We’re Made In Perth, a small local business making cookies, smoothies, ice pops and more for cafes, restaurants and stores all over Perth.
Thousands of people eat and drink our products every week, and it all comes out of our production kitchen in Wangara.
We’re looking for someone to join our team, and we want someone who wants to grow with us.
What you’ll be doing
- Making, portioning and packing our products
- Following recipes and keeping quality consistent batch after batch
- Keeping your area clean and sticking to food safety and hygiene standards
- Pitching in wherever the day needs you
Where it can go
This isn’t a job where you do the same basic tasks forever. We have clear training levels, and as you move up them you’ll take on more and get paid more. That includes things like:
- Running our production machinery
- Baking (Yes, cookies!!)
- Taking charge of recipes and batches
- Picking up current skills across the whole kitchen
We’ll show you exactly what each level looks like and what it takes to get there. If you’re keen to learn and step up, there’s real runway here.
What we’re looking for
- Some hospitality or kitchen experience
- Speed. We move efficiently and need someone who can keep up without cutting corners
- Can learn fairly quickly and can be proactive
- A genuine appreciation for food safety and hygiene
- Happy being on your feet all day. It’s not heavy lifting, but it is active
- Motivated to learn, upskill and take on more responsibility
- Reliable and available Monday to Friday
Hours and pay
- Monday to Friday, daytime only
- Start between 6 and 8am, finish between 3 and 5pm depending on production
- $32.18 to $34+ per hour (depending on level)
