Primary objective
Provide warehouse and supply services for the Top End Regional Distribution Centre, including receiving, storage, stock control, picking,
packing, despatch and delivery to support health service operations.
Context statement
Operating within a busy health logistics environment, this role requires regular physical manual handling, the use of specialised warehouse
equipment and delivery activities. The position requires solid attention to detail, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to
meet tight operational deadlines across the Distribution Centre.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Support daily warehouse, inventory,



imprest and supply operations to ensure uninterrupted health service delivery.
2. Receive, check, receipt, pick, pack, despatch and deliver stock in line with procedures and schedules.
3. Coordinate inbound and outbound trucks, including loading, unloading and manifest verification.
4. Safely operate specialised materials handling equipment including high-reach electric forklift and auto-pickers.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanning and stock management systems.
6. Monitor stock rotation, expiry dates, sterility, locations and storage conditions.
7. Assist with stocktakes, stock investigations and audit activities.
8. Apply WHS, manual handling, traffic management and service quality requirements.
9. Work collaboratively with staff, health service clients, external agencies and suppliers.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience in warehouse inventory, supply chain and stock control processes.
2. Demonstrated ability to use stock management systems and computer applications, including Microsoft Excel.
3. Demonstrated ability to safely perform manual handling duties in a physical warehouse environment.
4. Hold a current forklift licence, with experience operating high-reach electric forklifts and auto-pickers.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
6. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
7. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and commitment to client-focused service.
8. Demonstrated ability to work in a team, take direction and support organisational values.
Desirable
1. Hold a current NT MR licence or demonstrated capacity to obtain one.
